π 0.1 miles from Bramall Lane
Directly opposite Bramall Lane, the Railway Hotel is a big match-day pub for Sheffield United supporters, making it an easy pre- and post-match stop. The venue shows live sport (including TNT Sports), so early or late kick-offs can be watched around your visit. Away-fan guidance notes that pubs immediately around the ground are for home fans, so expect a Blades-leaning atmosphere here.
They're working really hard here and things look great!! The Blades link is obvious (and should be). Brilliant little beer garden overlooking BDTBL. Much more space inside and out. Good luck to all concerned.
Great traditional pub with cozy nooks and crannies. Free old school computer games like Galaga.
Used to like going in this real ale pub before and after the football games It's not so great now
This is an amazing little place. From the outside it certainly doesn't look inviting but don't let that put you off. Inside there's a warm welcome, real ale and range of classic, table-top arcade games to be found! A pool table and darts board are also available but 1943 and Centipede made it impossible for me to move away from the arcade games! Probably best to avoid Sheffield United match days if you're after a quiet drink - as it's literally across the road from Bramall Lane. Other than that, this is a great pub.
Smallish street corner boozer with a good range of cask ales, four or five. Neat interior that is made up of three rooms. Nice feature is that one room has video games tables for folk to enjoy while they sit. The game hark back to the 1980s and such. Good atmosphere. Recommended.
