What an amazing pub. Loved it here. Spent a couple hours. The staff are friendly and helpful. The drinks were great. The food was delicious. The pub itself is excellent, caked in history and decorations. Last but least it’s situated on the Thames with great views. Couldn’t recommend it more !

Fabulous historic pub overlooking the Thames. Very busy for Sunday lunch. Nice traditional pub with oldie world atmosphere. You can imagine sailors and dockers having a pint here hundreds of years ago. Very welcoming and charming. Mind the big step out onto the outer Terrance / decking area where you get the best river views.

We went for the Sunday roast in this pub honestly food was excellent! Highly recommend the roast pork neck or lamb. We had Rashard serve us and he was witty and delightful and friendly! He made our night; 10/10 for the food he recommended and we even ended up trying more. And the staff in general were attentive The atmosphere is cute and quaint. Highly recommend to anybody who wants an authentic historic pub experience with excellent food and A great atmosphere.

Beautiful old pub .. in fact the oldest in a London in Rotherhithe on the Thames. Closed to station as well as Cumberland Wharf where the pilgrims set sail for American in 1620. The area is full of history as well as the pub. You are transport to a different world. We got a good table outside by the river. Staff is efficient and helpful. We ordered the fish platter which was excellent and very traditional. They had herring roll which was very nice ( first time I tried this). Delicious fried prawns 🍤 , salmon and tuna. Simply delicious 😋. Drinks were good. Great atmosphere. Would love to come back did Sunday lunch.

Charming, warm atmosphere and beautiful views of the river. Food and drinks were very good - I tried the steak pie (18£) and an IPA (£6). If you want to sit inside, you'll need to reserve ahead, but the outdoor seating (which is heated) is first come first serve.
