Nice old building, a bit secluded but close enough to the student areas and bede park. One ale on, Tiger, not sure how long it had been on but it was a bit lifeless and on the verge so review is based on ale quality. Price average for braunstone. Nice large outside seating area that is a sun trap in summer.

One of Leicester's oldest surviving pubs which remains it's ancient charm. Good venue for upcoming local bands 🎸

The best pub theatre space I have ever been to! What a welcoming, warm and well-loved space. This theatre is run by volunteers and brings a fantastic variety of shows to its stage, and the pub below is great for a pre or post show drink 😊 Highly recommended.

The service i got each time I visited was a friendly one. The bartender is always willing to hear you out. They sometimes have events to spice up the day for clients. For me, the '3 for £10' drink bundle works perfectly well. You can go out on a pub date here and you'll be fine. The garden inside seats is about 10 to 20 people capacity, so you could feel the fresh air or have your fad there if you wish.
