📍 0.6 miles from King Power Stadium
The Sir Robert Peel is a convenient pre-match stop just a five-minute walk from Leicester City’s King Power Stadium and Leicester Tigers’ ground. It shows Sky Sports and TNT Sports, making it handy for early kick-offs or post-match highlights. The pub is described as a home base for Foxes and Tigers fans on the way to games, and it adapts hours around local fixtures. On matchdays, when the kitchen is closed, quick bar snacks like cobs, pies and sausage rolls are offered—useful for a fast bite before heading to the turnstiles.
Went for a quick beer after the Tigers Vs Bath game, and stayed several hours. The staff really do make this a pub to want to return too. There was a really good atmosphere in the pub with both sets of rugby fans and both sets of football fans standing side by side. LCFC playing after the Tigers game. Thoroughly recommend this pub as a great venue before or after a visit to the matches or hospital, which is next door..
Great pub, fantastic hosts. Great range of beers, well worth a visit
This Pub is a Jewell in the heart of Leicester I only go a couple of times a year the gaffers son who’s name I’ve forgot already served us today like his Father the service is faultless why is it a cheese and onion cob can taste so good made by someone else, good selection of beer and my favourite Cider Old Rosie.
This was the nearest pub to our hotel. Quite on the night we went. Friendly staff, happy to let us taste their beer before choosing. A nice ambience.
It is located next to the Royal Infirmary hospital and the Primus Student accommodation, Sir Richard Peel was ex Prime minister of UK during Queen Victoria era,
