The best place in town for an Irish Stout, no doubt. And whether it's a busy football day or a quiet chill and chat day, this is worth frequent visits. Being served by Tanya is always a delight. It's an all round great pub!
Nipped into the Halberd Inn for a quick, Christmastime beer with my other-half. Lisa, behind the bar, was welcoming and friendly. The pub was busy so we sat outside, undercover with the heaters keeping the chill off. It's a nice place for a pint and a natter!
I love this pub! One of the few good pubs left in Ipswich! I was served by Goerge and Zoe! Both very friendly and welcoming! Poured great pints and made delicious aperol sprits! Love the two for ten deal at the moment! Reccomend to anyone! Lovely warm booths to catch up with friends and the end of the work week in!
I love architecture and this place is an amazing building... Martin was a fantastic host... This place has a large function room and a huge outdoor covered seating area. Very popular with the locals... A great choice of background music created a great vibe and it was a pleasure to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Multiple screens showing sports... Multi level seating a roaring live fire and a dart board completes the experience. A must if your in the area 😎
Great boozer with multiple screens for sports. Ample space inside and large courtyard. Good range of beers and lively atmosphere. Martin behind the bar goes above and beyond with great personal service.
