City-centre location on Posterngate makes it easy for matchgoing fans to meet up, and CAMRA notes it’s close to bus routes and about 750m from Hull Paragon station for travel to and from the game. Crucially for Saturday kick-offs, the pub serves lunchtime food (Mon–Sat from 11:00, with a Sunday carvery), so fans can get a pre-match meal. Visit Hull also highlights its Old Mill traditional ales and that it becomes a lively nightspot on Fridays and Saturdays—useful for post-match drinks on a Saturday.

A very historical building. Loads of original features. Stained glass windows. A great, huge space. Pool, shuffle board.. you name it.. it is here. Photo booth too! During the day... relaxed and buffet style food. Drinks... wid orange.. reasonable pricing. Service... friendly and efficient. Layout.. as it was a religious building.. spacious and heritage kept. Obvious that night time will be lively. DJ box, laser lights etc...all ready to be fired up! A good place. Food looked pretty good. Tip.. arrived whe ln food first comes out.
I am from Scotland my Wife is from Hull and my step son took me today attracted by the free pool offer From the minute you open the door you cannot help fall in love with this beautiful enchanting gorgeous building The beautiful young blonde Lady that looked after us was nothing but so nice lovely genuine and just fantastic! We played pool for free played for a few hours talked to some of the lovely locals and just had fun like great great fantastic fun ! Cannot recommend this beautiful historical pub enough with incredibly fantastic super helpful staff ! When we left I said to my beautiful step son ... Alex surely this has to be thee best pub in Hull ? Please visit and I will let you decide Xx
Visited Archies Pizza within The Mission, all you can eat pizza for £12.95....would recommend.
Great slice of pizza, I went when it was 50% off the all you can eat Detroit Deep Dish! Plenty of pizza, the team was really hard working, by the end of the day they’ve done over 55 deep dishes. All dough was prepped in house, quality ingredients too. Staff were really busy making it hard to get a pint 😆
The food is reasonably priced and the carvery is gorgeous on a Sunday totally recommend such a lovely place to eat. Thank you to all of the staff that work so hard to produce an excellent service.
