📍 1.3 miles from The MKM Stadium
A central, city-centre sports pub that screens football throughout the week, including Premier League and EFL fixtures on Sky Sports and Sky Sports Plus. Listings are published on the venue’s own live-sport pages, and local tourism info notes live TV sport every day. Its location near Hull Paragon Interchange makes it convenient for supporters arriving by train to meet before heading to the MKM Stadium.
Great pub that I have used for nearly 50 years and the good thing about it is that it hasn't changed that much. Now a Craft Union Pub that sells drinks at great prices. Shows live sports on various big screens. Along with live music acts and a DJ with karaoke on an evening.
Last night was a great atmosphere, had a good time & a real laugh with the staff & other customers. A must visit for the entertainment.
The masters Bar is a nice attractive traditional pub. There is a wide selection of beers and lagers, but sadly no cask conditioned real ale. The beer is probably the cheapest in the town John Smith's £2.50 a pint and Incredibly only £2.30 Monday to Friday. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's only a small pub so there is no room for a dart board or a pool table. Up the spiral staircase there is another nice seating area and another flight of stairs leads to the toilets. If you're not bothered about cask conditioned ale, then definitely give this pub a try. I really enjoyed my visit.
It’s one of them bars where you are always welcome and it as one of my favourite bars back in the 90s as I live in Newcastle now I always visit it when im back home one the best bars ever
Was charged £11.90 for one and a half pints of John smiths and a pint of morreti. Should have come to less than £9. Didn't realize until after I left leaving me feeling ripped off! Won't be going back
