We came with our two children for a meal a couple of nights ago. Was a lovely atmosphere. The waiter told us they'd be a half a hour wait which is fine as its expected at busy times. We ordered via the app and drinks was served to us promptly. Dan the waiter went above and beyond for every customer. Checking in on them, asking if they needed anything else. He was amazing. the pub looked understaffed but they held it together well. Dan brought our food out and was very considerate to us having small children and brought theres out first which is brilliant when they are hungry and tired for a day out. The food was 10/10 and will be returning again very soon. Thank you to the chef and all staff especially the waiter he was lovely. Deserves a bonus for sure 🥰🥰
We had a brilliant experience here and wanted to share our thanks. The atmosphere was spot on, and we both left very happy. The Food Chick n Mix: I went for this and it was delicious—great variety and cooked perfectly. Sirloin Steak: Amy had the steak, and she was really pleased with it. Quality meat and exactly how she likes it. The Service The highlight of the night was our waitress, Vicky. She was absolutely great—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. DO NOT FORGET TO VALIDATE YOUR PARKING ON ENTRY.
Visited with my two grandsons for lunch and we had a lovely time. Elaine went over and above to look after us. The food was excellent, my oldest grandson 15 had his first mixed grill and he ate the lot. My youngest ate from the kids menu hungry eater because he loves your sausages and gravy boat. There was nothing left on his plate. He also had a dessert from the main menu of apple pie and custard which he really enjoyed. I chose the steak flatbread which was delicious with the yoghurt and mint sauce. My husband and I are regulars here for drinks as we love the atmosphere so we knew it would be great for lunch. Had a brilliant time at the pub thanks to Katie and Joe. The service was honestly top-tier! pints were at the table in under 60 seconds, which you don’t see often at all. Both of them were super friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The atmosphere was spot on as well, with a really warm and lively vibe that made it easy to settle in and have a good time. You can tell the staff genuinely care about creating a great environment. Big shoutout to Katie and Joe, absolute legends. Will definitely be back!
