Good old pub, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Good location, wolds smallest window what more could you need

We just had a drink here because they have a good choice of real ales. They had quite a few special deals on for standard beers and lagers as well. Wheelchair accessible as it's all on one level.

In the land of green Ginger the George Hotel is is a proper unspoilt British pub, serving a good selection of quality hand-pulled cask conditioned real ale. A very friendly pub with an unspoilt interior and wooden floors. Occasional live music. There is a brass plate the outside showing the position of the smallest window in England.
