I didn't eat but there was a good selection of food at reasonable prices. Again, a good selection of drinks at good prices with a friendly and efficient service and I can confirm this time, tasted great. Clean, cosy, comfortable. Toilets were well stocked and clean. Can't believe I've never been in before but I'll definitely be in again :)

Fantastic pub 10 min walk from the city centre. Great selection of beers, tasty, reasonably priced food & friendly staff. Suitable for discerning punters only! 😉

Very good pub about twenty minutes walk from Coventry railway station. Six cask ales - and one cider - on handpump when I visited including a mild. Loads of outdoor seating in the very large garden to the rear some of it covered. The pub was rebuilt by the landlord from the shell of the former Leigh Mills gatehouse.

We stopped off at the Gatehouse Tavern for a couple of drinks before we headed back to the hotel and it was nice to find a good old-fashioned pub👍 We went on the Thursday night and they had an open microphone 🎤 Andrew, the barman was very friendly 👍 If you’re coming to Coventry and you just want to have a few drinks with a good atmosphere in a good old-fashioned pub, then this is the place for you 😎
