Visited for lunch yesterday. Very friendly staff-the guy serving us said it was his first day, and that he was usually on the bar but he did great! Manager Rachael also brilliant with catering for allergies. It seemed to be just the two on them on shift, but managed the tables well. Food great as usual, wait was a little slow but we weren’t in any rush so it didn’t bother us. Only thing I can complain about and it probably isn’t even worth mentioning-my friend’s brownie was bigger than mine…first world problems, ha!
Only discovered this gem in July. The food for the 3 times we have visited has been consistently up there. Well cooked food served by attentive staff in really lovely relaxing surroundings. We had the scotch eggs for starters, pressed belly pork and the berry waffle stack for dessert all 3 were excellent. This is a really lovely place with a warm atmosphere to enjoy high quality food.
We had a lovely meal here on valentine's day, I had the salmon which was delicious and apparently the steak was also nice. They had live music on too which was a nice touch. Very much recommend
5 stars all round! Birthday meal with my fiance, Lovely Zara tended to our every need, making our evening extra special with her exceptional customer service. Fabulous cocktails, highly recomend the Amaretto Sour! Food cooked to absolute perfection. Thank you for a wonderful Thursday evening.
We have celebrated our friends' birthdays here today with a Sunday lunch,and Chloe was absolutely amazing as our waitress! She deserves a raise, and is an asset to the restaurant! Her manager, Frankie, was also lovely, would not hesitate to return!
