I love going to this place. Its spacious. Ordering food is super comfortable and quick. Few tables dont have table numbers though. We had woo woo jug and felt like we gulped a jug of cranberry juice. Best thing about this place is sunset view, If you get to see. and this place has DOOM BAR 😝☺️
Beautiful place, so big! Good breakfast as always. Very clean. Toilets downstairs, the signs ‘return to bar’ are needed. However, the ladies toilets are huge, seats, mirrors it’s all going on. So if your partner has gone missing you know where they’ll be!
My friend and I visited last Thursday and ordered a substantial amount of food along with our second round of drinks. We stepped outside for a quick cigarette break and were away for no more than five minutes. When we returned, our table had been completely cleared, including food and drinks worth approximately £25. I was genuinely surprised by this. In my experience, both in the UK and elsewhere, it is highly unusual for a table to be cleared after such a short absence. When we raised the issue, we were told that tables are cleared to make room for other customers. However, at the time there were several vacant tables available, so this explanation did not seem particularly relevant. What made the situation more frustrating was the response we received. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, the staff member continued to argue the point for several minutes—longer than we had actually been away from the table. I even asked whether the same policy would apply if customers briefly left their table to use the restroom, as it seemed unreasonable to assume a table had been abandoned after only a few minutes. Unfortunately, the incident spoiled what had otherwise been a pleasant evening. While we were eventually offered a small complimentary drink, we still had to reorder the food that had been cleared away. The location is excellent, but the handling of this situation was disappointing and left a negative impression.
The Ledger Building, a Wetherspoon pub in Canary Wharf, is a fantastic spot to unwind with family and friends. Set in a charming historic building with plenty of character, it offers a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual catch-ups and special occasions. The interior is cozy and inviting, but the real highlight for me is the outdoor seating area. Sitting outside with a pint or a coffee, watching the crowd go by, and soaking in the beautiful views of the dock is one of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon. The menu is extensive, with a wide range of food and drink options to suit all tastes and dietary needs. From hearty breakfasts to classic pub meals and lighter bites, there’s something for everyone. The drinks selection is equally impressive, with affordable pints, cocktails, wines, and alcohol-free choices. Prices are very reasonable, making it easy to enjoy a full meal and drinks without breaking the bank. Whether you’re starting your day with a coffee, stopping for a quick bite, or settling in for a long evening with friends, The Ledger Building combines great value, comfort, and a scenic setting in the heart of Canary Wharf.
Spacious place with features and history. Good location and reasonable price for plenty choice of drinks Some staff are a bit slow and lack of basic hospitality skills. Why aren't they choose some other job to be happier.?
