π 0.8 miles from Stadium of Light
Listed in an away-fan pub guide, the Harbour View is flagged as a matchday option with big-screen TVs, real ale and food. It also states the pub is a little further from the Stadium of Light, which can make it a calmer pre-match meet. Local tourism info says they show sport regularly, including Sunderland games, so you can catch early kick-offs or post-match fixtures. For beer-focused groups, CAMRA notes six rotating hand-pulls, and recent tap activity shows a strong cask/craft line-up. In short: an away-friendly, sport-showing, real-ale spot that works well for watching games and fuelling up before or after the match.
Absolutely class we called in on Sunday for the first time what a great pub it was really busy and we struggled to get through the door which is nice to see it is warm and inviting but most importantly it has a wide selection of drinks and here is a refreshing think it was reasonable priced that makes a difference from being ripped off all of the time so if you are looking for a nice place to go for a drink give this place a try
Nice pub great choice of beers and lager, always at least six guest ales, very reasonably priced.
Really great looking pub with an excellent array of fine ales and a lot of character ... And characters! Just what I look for in a real ale pub.
Very friendly bar good prices on the drinks . Really enjoyed my time there
Great local pub, with TV sport action for those interested. And best of all, terrific beer!
