Absolutely love The Trent Navigation Inn. Such a lovely pub with amazing vibes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It was my first time trying the veggie roast dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The roast potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned, there was plenty of gravy, and I loved that there is a veggie sausage option if you prefer it over the nut roast. Even better, it was the £10 Monday special which is incredible value for such a quality meal. My cousin and I met here for a wedding planning catch up for our cousin, and her dogs were welcomed too which made it even more special. They were loving life and getting so much attention from everyone. Honestly cannot fault this place. Great food, great energy, and friendly staff. I also love that they have opened their mini bar across the road called Over The Road. Such a great touch. Will definitely be back. 🥳
Good beer and very nice food at reasonable prices. Decent outside seating area with huge cinema screens left and right for watching sports. There is even a seating area under one large marquee. Additionally there are some fine pictures of artwork of Sportsmen etc scattered about. I can only imagine this place to be packed out on match days and I can see why.
A fantastic venue, no surprise that this is a must visit for all Forest fans. Watched an away game for the first time in the “Big Shed” this week and had a great night. The Jamaican mutton curry was sensational, the staff provided great service and there were plenty of areas where the game could be watched in comfort. Will definitely be popping in again!
This has got to be one of the best pre-match pubs I've ever been to. Proper beer from the on-site brewery with rapid service in a beautifully renovated building and Big Shed make it a must visit. Mingling with the County fans whilst listening to the excellent singer made for a buzzing atmosphere too. The 2-1 Saddlers victory was a nice added bonus....
Just had the 2 course Christmas Menu.. absolutely lovely and good value for money. Big thank you to Rik for making us feel welcome and for his great service, nothing was too much trouble. Merry Christmas to you all.
