📍 0.3 miles from The City Ground
Larwood & Voce is less than a five-minute walk from Nottingham Forest’s City Ground and sits at the corner of Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, making it a convenient pre-match stop. The club’s own matchday guide notes large screens showing live sport and describes it as a home-fans venue, while live Premier League/TNT fixtures are advertised on third-party listings. FootballGroundGuide highlights it as a lively pre-match spot for Forest supporters, with outdoor space, TV screens and bars serving a range of food and drink—useful if you want atmosphere close to the stadium before kickoff.
We went to Larwood & Voce with family and had a good experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful and provided great service! There's a good range of food, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks on offer here. It is tucked away in the corner of Trent Bridge cricket ground, and is a firm favourite amongst West Bridgford folk.
Visited on a Friday lunchtime (it was not particularly busy). The staff were friendly and the food was fresh and really tasty.
Nice place great selection of beers wines and spirits, pre match drinks with fellow Nottingham Forest supporters. Haven't tried the food here so unable to Comment, staff friendly and efficient very quick service on an extremely busy Thursday evening. I would be happy to recommend this establishment.
I never leave reviews but felt compelled to. Came recently to join family for a few drinks on a late Sunday afternoon. Firstly not a soul in sight, bar us 4 adults and two kids, oh and a baby who was nothing short of an angel. Kids aged 5 & 8, they sat and did drawing for the first hour or so, not a peep from them. I'd say very very well behaved kids. We ordered 3 rounds, so let's say around £100+ during this time one man and child also entered the bar. Granted after being in the bar for about an hour and a half the two kids go tup and did move around the bar. They weren't particularly noisy, or badly behaved but they were being kids and explored the venue. I'm quite conscious of my kids and them ever disturbing other people or being naughty etc, but due to the fact there wasn't a single person in the place I wasn't overly worried about them moving around. I didn't feel they were at risk of breaking anything or worried etc. The tv was ridiculously loud & was the most disruptive part of the experience. During this time I noticed that the staff, were sat around the bar and a member of staff (a girl) was staring kind of passively aggressively at us. (Now if they weren't happy with the kids, kindly come over and let us know, no issues we can deal with it) Instead - the staff, whom were made up of a bunch kids, were talking about us while we were sat right by them (rude???) and were also drinking?? Whilst either still on shift or had just finished. Zero people skills, incredibly rude & so unprofessional. Honestly disgusted by the experience. I will not be returning. Whoever own this place, you're in a prime position in west B on a Sunday afternoon / evening - you should have a lovely ambience and a nice amount of customers, but instead there's a reason you have no punters in your premises and zero atmosphere. It's actually quite sad. Sort your staff out and you might find you'll be a bit busier. Very very bad experience and sadly will not come back.
Very friendly place with really well cooked and good value food. All staff were friendly behind the bar. We were served at the table by Lottie and Lola. Both Brilliant. I have to give a special shout out to Lola who went over and above to ensure we had a great day.
