What an amazing pub! We took my 79 year old mother in law in after her last visit to the Etihad 😓 and from the minute we got to the door all the staff were amazing with her. I explained that she had dementia and the staff and locals could not have been any better with her. They played any song she could remember she liked, danced with her and made her feel special. It’s a day she will never forget! Even with her dementia. Thank you all, you are all the very best people who made the whole family feel welcome xx
Fantastic pub and atmosphere. Great landlady mary made us feel very welcome. Buffet food and room decorations was fabulous for my mums party highly recommended x
Well what can I say. We were staying in a room on Rylance Street. We went to the young voices concert at the co op live and after the concert we stopped of at the corner shop pub. We have never been made to feel more welcome in any pub we've been in. The landlady is amazing and everyone in the pub made us feel so welcome. Don't ever stop what you are doing....you are amazing and thank you xx
Best pub I have been to in years, what a lovely woman the landlady is, came for a couple of drinks before the drake concert and she couldn’t of been anymore accommodating, would come back just for a night out in here. Don’t find pubs like this anymore :) thanks for a lovely welcoming will call again if ever in the area xx
Had a 21st party here and can say it was a great night the staff and landlady went above and beyond to make it a great atmospheer regarding the dj ,food and service cudnt foult them wud definitly recomend it .thanks girls 😃
