On County Road near Goodison Park, Harlech Castle is widely described as an Everton pub and a busy matchday stop. Reviewers call it the “best Everton pub” and note it’s popular before or after games, and specifically on Everton home matchdays. Listings indicate the venue shows football on terrestrial TV, making it a practical spot to catch live action as well. All of this makes it a natural pre- or post-match gathering point for home fans in the L4 area.
Decent pub. Authentic well priced good service. Exactly what a pub should be. Great pre match.
Attend here on a weekend for the live music, which was amazing. Leggie and Pulsey had the pub packed and everyone dancing/singing and joining in. It is a great vibe for a small, old fashioned proper pub.
Not sure if it sells food, but there are places close by that do. A very friendly atmosphere with great staff on hand to help with anything you might need.
Nice pub, even better tiny beer garden
Lovely cosy pub. Visited on match day and as always it was very busy, after the game. Friendly bar staff who do their best to cope with the crowd! Good selection of drinks, bottled and draught, decent prices, plenty of TV's for sport too. Recommended... especially for Halloween and Remembrance Sunday, when the pub is extensively decorated by the manageress and staff.
