📍 0.0 miles from Elland Road
Directly opposite Elland Road, The Old Peacock is a long-standing pre-match rally point for Leeds supporters. CAMRA’s WhatPub notes its location and match-day set-up (covered decking, large garden and outside food vendors) and Thai kitchen service. Multiple away-day guides describe it as a staunch home-supporters pub rather than one for visiting fans. With Sky Sports screens, you can catch the early or late TV kick-off around the game, and the marquee/garden help absorb match-day crowds. Its deep connection to Leeds United culture makes it a reliable meeting spot before and after fixtures.
Great food, the owner and staff were really nice and checked in frequently for our questions and to check everything was alright. Definitely would recommend!
What a lovely afternoon we’ve just had in The Old Peacock. Another fantastic Ossett brewery pub. White Rat and Silver King on top form. The Thai food was as good as it gets. The lunchtime deal is ridiculously good value at £10.50 for starters & main with rice or chips. Quality as good as the best restaurants in town. Already planning our next visit. Congratulations to the team all of whom were friendly and welcoming.
The iconic pub next to Elland Road stadium. All leeds fans have to visit this at least once on match days. Course it gets busy but great atmosphere. Enjoy the build up to the game there.
Great sports pub. Large covered indoor and outdoors areas and massive garden area with large screens playing sports. Main bar with choice of larger and range of ales, and also a few little bars serving larger. Good friendly atmosphere.
Great venue, loads of choice, large inside bar area, and even more space and bars outside, We were invited there by Jamie the owner, thoroughly nice chap, well done for making it a great venue
