📍 0.1 miles from Goodison Park
It’s a classic Everton matchday pub just a short walk from Goodison Park—listed as about a 3-minute walk—so it’s ideal for a pre- or post-match pint. Reviews and fan guides describe it as very much a home-fans pub, with Everton décor and a lively crowd on matchdays. The pub has also advertised multiple Premier League fixtures as being shown live, making it a reliable spot to watch televised games around kick-off times. Note that local guides say many pubs on County Road operate Everton-fan-only entry on matchdays, so away supporters may be better choosing alternative venues nearby.
Originally known to locals as the Red Brick, this is now very much an Evertonian pub, even the interior lighting is blue. The interior would appear to retain lots of original features. We went in after a Liverpool home game. We had zero trouble, even though we were the only two people in there wearing red, the bar staff were lovely. It did feel that some people gave us looks on entry, but it still felt totally safe. Still glad we visited. Old pubs such as this need to be supported, otherwise we risk losing them.
Great pub my first time. Went in after the Everton match found the pub staff and locals very friendly. See you next time.e I'm up in Liverpool
The Brick is a fantastic pub with friendly and inviting staff. They work extremely hard to keep customers happy and safe on match days and have a great team of staff behind the bar. I've never eaten there for food but I will at some point. They have a great selection of beers on tap and plenty of other options available.
