Screens with Sky Sports and TNT Sports mean you can catch live football before or after a game. The pub serves food daily (including a dedicated Sunday roast menu), making it a practical stop for pre-match meals or post-match refuelling. It also sits right by Crystal Palace Park and the bus station, which is handy for matchday travel connections. Beer choice includes rotating craft lines and cask options like Volden, so groups have plenty to choose from.
My partner and I ended up at Westow House on a Wednesday late evening recently after exceptional circumstances meant we had to temporarily vacate our property. We were lucky they could accommodate us initially for one night but this turned out to be one week. The rooms are clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, air conditioning and private bathroom. The service was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and very compassionate given our circumstances. We’re very grateful and enjoyed our stay there under the circumstances. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and pubs in the area, and a large supermarket nearby. Highly recommend.
Upgraded room to accommodate my lightweight wheelchair and helped to get it upstairs as I had missed the fact that there was no lift. So friendly and helpful. My room was lovely and quiet too. Good shower over bath and good quality soaps, gels etc. Also had an evening meal. Varied menu and very reasonably priced, especially for London. Food cooked with love and very tasty. Brilliant service, nothing too much trouble. Suitable for us with baby and noticed others with toddlers. Very clean and saw kitchen was spotless. Will definitely return
Lovely pub with nice room and good modern bathroom. Well located for bus and overground travel. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby and right across from the park. Would definitely stay again.
The Westow is my go to pub as a local. It’s always got a great vibe, child friendly in the day time especially and has fun quiz nights and live music some weekends. It’s not the absolute cheapest compared to say a Wetherspoons but for the slightly higher price you get great food, cool staff and is a real one-off. I am not a huge pub fan usually but I have been here for my birthday, with family for a Sunday roast dinner (which caters for my veggie diet) and the staff were so nice as my little daughter need to use the ladies bathroom once and the staff were so kind, and not only let us use the facilities we were even able to take our dog in who drank from the doggie water dish! And that time we hadn’t spent any money. If anyone is visiting Crystal Palace I would say visiting the Westow is a must!
We had such a lovely brunch at Westow House! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive without being over the top, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the perfect spot for a catch-up with friends or a relaxed weekend treat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great brunch in Crystal Palace — we’ll definitely be back! 😊
