About this Pub

The White Hart

Why it's great for Matchdays

Set on Church Road in the Crystal Palace Triangle, The White Hart is a popular pre-match meeting spot for Palace supporters, with local guides noting fans often head here before games. It’s a short walk from Crystal Palace station (around 650m), making it handy for travelling to Selhurst Park. On matchdays you can catch live football here (they’ve advertised showing games like Ireland v England), and there’s a full food menu for pre- or post-match eats. The bar also rotates a strong craft lineup, so groups can settle in easily before heading to the ground.

Amazing pub! The burgers are absolutely delicious! I got the special festive Camembert burger. It was very nice and tender, lots of flavour and the sauce is pretty good. The other burgers look really good as well! A great singer with a guitar played at around 20:00. Played Coldplay really well!

We had a reservation for a Sunday roast at 3:15. We arrived on time, but we didn’t eat until 4:15 — an hour later. The service was slow, the kitchen was slow, and I wouldn’t recommend it. On top of that, the food was not good at all. I won’t be coming back.

Christmas lunch yesterday. It was all very nicely done. The turkey can be a problem in some places but this was tender and moist. Very good indeed. The starters and puddings were lovely too. I had the smoked salmon plus salmon mousse to start and the trio of desserts to finish. All very enjoyable. The ice cream in particular was rather special. I don't generally eat ice cream but I was happy to make an exception yesterday. Overall I would say it was superb. I would suggest cranberry sauce and bread sauce in the future. But I was glad I chose to eat at the White Hart on Christmas Day. The food and the service went very well. Thank you.

I booked the White Hart for our Friendsmas lunch which included 9 adults, 6 children and 2 babies. Despite being such a big party of people, they accommodated us so well. The service was 10/10 (big shout out to Rebecca and her team!) and the food was delicious - everyone commented on how superb the roasts were. We were given a large area that was both comfortable and perfect for our needs and we will definitely be booking it again for Friendsmas next year - we've found our new tradition

Pub grub at its finest, the roast lamb was succulent, full of flavour and cooked to perfection, even the veggies were yummy and each meal came with its own little gravy boat. We left the pub stuffed and happy.
