About this Pub

The Railway Telegraph

Why it's great for Matchdays

Right by Thornton Heath station and a short hop to Selhurst Park, this pub is a well-used matchday stop. It explicitly welcomes “all football supporters” visiting Crystal Palace and is noted by CAMRA as popular with fans heading to the ground, so both home and away fans mix here. Multiple TVs with Sky Sports and TNT Sports mean you can catch early kick-offs or results before/after the game. The pub serves food (with stated kitchen times), handy for pre-match bites—especially on Saturdays when food is served up to late afternoon. Overall, its station-side location, live sport on TV, and inclusive football welcome make it a practical base on Palace matchdays.

Phoned in yesterday and was met with a friendly professional staff/service. Eventually came today for soft drinks with extended family, watched the Man Utd v Arsenal game and the atmosphere was fabulous!✔️💫

Popped in here for a quick pint. It's a very relaxing and enjoyable place to have a pint, with staff who are friendly and very hospitable. Will definitely be back.

A proper pub. Food only on Friday & Saturdays. A bit of railway history via pictures on the wall. The curved glass entrance and door is divine. Characters inside galore and as mentioned Karaoke…..
