📍 0.4 miles from Selhurst Park
On Thornton Heath High Street, the Prince George explicitly welcomes both home and away supporters and is close to Selhurst Park. It shows live sport on Sky and TNT/BT across multiple large screens, making it a dependable matchday spot for watching the early/late kick-offs. CAMRA notes it’s popular when Crystal Palace play at home, and WhatPub highlights nearby bus routes and Thornton Heath station, which helps fans arriving by rail. An away-day guide also mentions the pub has satellite TV and is surrounded by quick food options on the High Street, including takeaways and a convenience store opposite—handy before or after the game.
Quite possibly the best bar staff in London!?? So nice to see someone with the ability to serve 2 or 3 customers at the same time!! I owe her a drink next year when City are in town again!!👍👏👏🍻
The Pub meant to open at 12pm and the person still setting up they should have been here at 11am
Excellent pub for away fans close to the crystal palace stadium beer £7 a pint not too bad overall decent experience
Went before a football game with a mate. First round they tried to overcharge me by £1. My mates second round they tried to shortchange him by £1. Could be coincidence but it’s bad luck and leaves a sour taste.
What they do on a matchday should be a blueprint for others. The service is very speedy, yet the staff were friendly and welcoming. Been there a couple of times now, I'm impressed!
