Nice old Interia with a modern musical twist, reasonably priced. Huge garden out back with covered bits if it's raining. Good food and well priced. Loads of gigs and live music hence the large stage in the corner. Can get parked outside but keep an eye for the parking wardens if you don't want to pay! Have been a few times, dog friendly and kid friendly. Also starred in a peep show episode, which was why we initially went but have been back since as it's a nice pub with lively atmosphere 😉 👌
Hands down, my favourite pub. They have live jazz every Sunday and their vegan roast is the best I've had, sometimes made with veggies from the pub garden. The staff are wonderful, really friendly and a laugh. The pub has a great atmosphere, it's cosy and welcoming. Would recommend!
Lovely pub, very nice vibe. Also a superb venue for regular live music with excellent sound and an audience that actually listens to and enjoys the music. Didn't try the food, but lots of people had booked tables and were eating. Well worth a visit, and I'll definitely be back.
Always love going to the Oval Tavern and in my view the best pub in the area. Really nice staff and food is great. Would recommend the Sunday roasts but also the ham egg and chips. They also regularly have live Jazz which depending on your point of view a positive or negative.
Monday evening dinner, good variety of food options. While unfortunately there were items on the menu they were not able to serve, it was plenty to have many delicious sharing items. Service was good, wasn't too busy on a Monday Nice place!
