A handy pre-match stop for Crystal Palace games: the pub promotes a big-screen matchday setup and shows football on terrestrial channels, while its own site says it’s “especially electric on Palace home games.” It’s on the Norwood Junction side of Selhurst Park, and the ground is a 10–15 minute walk from local stations, making it convenient before or after fixtures. Multiple fan guides and posts highlight it as a popular meet-up on Palace matchdays. Expect live football for major free-to-air games and a lively home-fan crowd close to the stadium.
The battered fish with tartar sauce was delicious. My wife enjoyed it. I had the steak and chips which would have tasted much better if the meat came to me hot and not cold. The chips were very very delicious. Crispy and flaky outside and moist inside. One of the best chips we've had in England. I would also recommend the wings in BBQ sauce. This was very succulent.
New refurb pub in Norwood Junction, much needed in the area. Top service, good food, affordable beer, quiz nights and plenty of table games... Simply the best pub in miles around!!!!
This place has a lovely ambience and great staff. Sadly my roast was not so great, it had great flavour but my beef was tough and dry, the Yorkshire pudding was dry and overcooked and the roast potatoes tasted reheated. I might try other food here and come back for drinks, but I won't be having another roast here.
Nice n big place for having drinks n chit chat with friends. Service is ok as well as drinks. All i like is atmosphere all around. Nothing special is there even they didn’t make an effort to make it something
Nice pub close to Selhurst park. Good food nice and friendly reasonably priced drinks with a wide variety. Plenty of places to sit and have a chat and a pre match pint or two
