📍 1.1 miles from Stamford Bridge
Tucked just off the King’s Road in Chelsea, The Builders Arms is well placed for matchdays in the area. The pub’s own page confirms its location and operation as a pub-restaurant, while CAMRA’s WhatPub lists South Kensington Underground station about 700m away—useful because Chelsea FC note Fulham Broadway (District line) as the nearest station to Stamford Bridge, making it a straightforward hop toward the ground. With the kitchen serving throughout the day (hours shown on the menus page), it’s a convenient spot for pre- or post-match food when you’re basing yourself around SW3 and heading to the Bridge by Tube.
Tucked away on what feels like a quiet residential street in Chelsea, this cozy pub was the perfect refuge for our jet-lagged selves. We stuck with classic British pub fare, fish and chips and the pie of the day, filled with chicken and pork. Casual, comforting, and authentic, it was an ideal introduction to the London dining scene.
A traditional looking pub with a nice range of drinks :) We were however super surprised with the quality of the food.. honestly one of the best Caesar salads I have had in a very long time! Everything was so fresh and just really tasty! Would definitely recommend!
Haven't eaten here, only drank - food looked good but can't comment. Great range of drinks, with some interesting options I've not seen before (including novel alcohol free stock) and all of those I tried being very very good. Not noticeabley expensive given it's just off the Kings Road (£7-8 pint range), and a lovely atmosphere inside. Will definitely return
My friends and I went to this pub last weekend and we were delighted!! The staff were so nice - our waitress was called Selin and she was always smiley and happy to help!! We really enjoyed our drinks and our food. I had one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had in London and the chips were delicious as well. We will come back for sure!!
Had our company Christmas dinner here. Nice pub, very lively and great atmosphere. That was it. The dinner service was well below average. 10 of us for dinner and the plates started coming singly and by the time the last plate came the first people had finished. The steak was as bad as I've ever seen. Stringy and tough. Inedible. The pork was also sent back. The texture was almost like it was processed. Deserts didn't all come to the table. All in all not a great experience.
