📍 0.4 miles from Stamford Bridge
The Atlas is a known Chelsea matchday spot: local fan media notes it’s around a 15–20 minute walk from Stamford Bridge and that it has hosted Chelsea Supporters’ Trust meetings, pointing to a home-fan leaning atmosphere on matchdays. Historical reports also describe it being busy with pre-match fans. It’s close to West Brompton Underground station, which makes it convenient for travelling supporters heading to and from the game. On Sundays (a common fixture day), the kitchen runs all day, so fans can get food before or after kick-off.
Great lunch before ‘Come Alive’ at Empress museum. Very friendly service, even the team on the door (it was a Chelsea v Liverpool match day) were nice.
Lovely pub buzzing with atmosphere. Ordered food. £34 for a mediocre steak seemed quite pricey. What doesn't seem right is charging 12.5% service when you order at the bar. I suspect they might say you can ask to have it removed but telling a chef the tips removed before they cook might not be clever. Also don't want an atmosphere. Shame as such a great pub. Glass of rose £14 plus 12.5% pint of beer £7-60 plus 12.5% if you order drinks with food. Maybe those prices were why many weren't eating there. Very friendly staff serving at the bar and delivering to the table. Fun bar
The Atlas, close to West Brompton underground is a fine art deco pub offering a range of both keg and cask beers. The staff are lovely and I loved my beer. There is an excellent garden area to the side. The place appears much loved, lots of happy people.
We love this pub, the food is great and the service is outstanding. Over the last couple of months though the men’s toilets have really gone downhill. The pipes seem to be leaking all over the floor and last night there was a rubbish bin under the last urinal. By the end of the night the floor was awash with water and who knows what else. Could we have all this plumbing fixed please. It used to be much safer and less unpleasant. Thanks
We had a very enjoyable Sunday roast at the Atlas, my one complaint would be that the Yorkshire pudding was very dry, maybe some gravy would help, we booked a table for 12 noon when they opened and sat as the only others for 15 minutes before one of the four workers came to our table to ask if we wanted to order. It’s obviously a busy place as it was fairly busy by the time we left, More gravy guys especially for £27
