This is one of the smaller weatherspoons I've been into but it was cozy. It was nice. Sadly the rain was coming down and they got a beer garden at the back And although there were some people in the Bay garden which was sheltered because you had the gazebo, we just enjoyed the internal experience. The beer I sampled was from about 20 miles away. I believe on the label you can see it tells you how far the beer has travelled!

Cask ales are always in exceptional condition. Service is always courteous and helpful. A visit here is a fine drinking and social experience.

Came for a few drinks with my husband, brother in-law and his wife. Service was excellent, especially the lady with blond hair who came round selling raffle tickets but will the staff were great. We ordered two vegan sausage, chips and beans, a vegan Beyond fiesta burger and chicken curry. The food was excellent especially for the price, we could not fault our visit...will definitely revisit.

Got a meal with a soft drink was charged for it and put tea and confirmed on the net. Drink didn’t come so went to bar spoke to manager who told me there was no drink on it even though I confirmed it. Had to pay another £1.85 to get a tea. Said they couldn’t change order once it was closed. Worst pub I go in, takes forever to get served and staff are miserable. On a sat night 5-10 of us go out and it takes forever to get served because they serve tables first whether or not we were there first. Won’t be going in anymore they are ignorant

I had a deeply upsetting experience at this Wetherspoon in Burnley involving a member of staff who appeared to be a manager. While my partner and I were quietly sitting and minding our own business, she turned to us and said, “we argue behind the bar over who has to serve the nonce,” clearly referring to my partner. This is an extremely serious and offensive accusation, implying criminal behavior, and it was made publicly without any provocation. We had done nothing to engage with her or cause any issue. This kind of language is completely unacceptable in any setting, let alone from someone in a position of responsibility. It was humiliating, distressing, and entirely unprofessional. I would strongly urge management to investigate this incident. No customer should be subjected to this kind of treatment.
