📍 1.1 miles from Gtech Community Stadium
Listed as showing TNT Sports, so you can catch live football around kick-off. The pub runs a home-cooked menu (notably pie, mash & liquor) with stated food service hours at lunch and early evening—useful for pre-match meals. It sits on Brentford High Street by the lock; CAMRA's WhatPub notes it's close to bus routes (65/235/237/267) and about 550m from Brentford rail station, making it straightforward to reach the Gtech via local transport. Brentford FC also say pubs around the stadium generally welcome both home and away fans, so matchdays are typically mixed in the area.
A very comfortable and accommodating pub, full of tradition. Interesting and attractive decor. Food looked very good although I didn't eat, quick pint and a ramekin of dry roasted nuts en route to Shepherd's Bush Empire. A decent pint of Mahou but there seemed to be confusion over the pricing of some drinks. Large beer garden to the side. I'd happily return.
It does what it says on the tin! The six bells by Brentford bridge is a simple unassuming pub offering a good selection of keg beers along with a couple of cask ales for the real ale drinkers. There is a lovely courtyard garden with plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine. Lovely people behind the bar. Good place for a pint.
Absolutely fantastic. The staff are always so lovely & such a nice, community focused pub. The food Is fantastic too !
Great friendly staff. Very welcoming. Dog friendly. Lovely homemade food , at great prices. New specials every week. Recommend this place all day long. 😁
Fantastic fish and chips, as well as the BEST mushy peas I've ever had. Friendly and accommodating wait staff. A must visit!
