About this Pub

Magpie and Crown

Why it's great for Matchdays

An away-fan-friendly real-ale pub on Brentford High Street, the Magpie & Crown explicitly welcomes visiting supporters. It’s practical for matchdays: the pub has Sports TV (including TNT Sports) and is also listed with big-screen football, so you can catch early/late kick-offs. It’s easy to reach, with Brentford rail station shown as nearby (about 550m) and several bus routes stopping close by, making it a convenient pre- or post-match meet point. Inside, rotating cask/keg options often include beers like 360 Degree Session IPA, Fuller’s Oliver’s Island and Harvey’s Sussex Best Bitter, and food is served at lunchtime and in the evening — handy if you need a bite around kick-off.

Cozy locals pub in Brentford. Two cask offerings and 10-12 keg beer and cider offerings. Excellent bar service. A must visit if you like Thai food. The Thai kitchen in the pub had one of the best curry dishes I've ever had...outstanding!

My first eating Thai food in a pub! I love Thai food and this reminded me my trip to the Philippines who happens to have very similar type of food, the Chef is very friendly and I believe is from Thailand so that makes it even more special The food was amazing! Good portion size and it tasted great I also love the pub itself, looks very traditional, and the cute little dog who just want to be pampered

Lovely welcome and friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. Its a gorgeous little pub. The food is delicious. We went for lunch, but will go back for the evening experience. If you're ever in Brentford, this is the place to go.

Five stars just because it's fun and frankly surprised it is still here, not because of the pub but due the whole area around it being bulldozed as part of a new development. The place looks like the miraculous survivor of a raid during the blitz. Well done to everyone for keeping going. A fair range of kegs on offer + one real ale and one pulled cider. There is a pool table, a dart board and a blast to the past video game table. A music centric venue with lots of live music events planned. Food was not on during my visit. Great music playing in the background. I have enjoyed my pint. Thank you.
