First time visit here to meet a pal to watch the footy. It was recommended and was impressed. Great service and atmosphere was fab. Selection of beers was good and even though I didn't partake in food, it looked very good. The pub is well situated between snow Hill and new street stations, which was a plus. Look forward to visiting again.
Great visit to The Trocadero. Despite the place being pretty packed, we didnβt have to wait at all to be served. The staff were friendly and helpful, making everything feel very easy. The pub has a cracking atmosphere and the crowd there seemed really lovely. We had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend it if you're in the city center!
My family and I (2 adults, 2 children) came to Birmingham today to show the children around and do some shopping. Mainly the Lego store. We looked around for somewhere at lunch time and everywhere was extremely busy down the main drag to the Bullring. I'm not a fan of crowds and having been to a restaurant in this street at Christmas I thought we'd try it. It was so homely and inviting when we entered. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have a dairy allergy so often ordering is a hard slog and feels embarrassing but the lady who served me was fabulous. It was nice not to be made to feel like a weirdo. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. Then the food arrived and it was amazing. The children are super fussy and they loved the pizzas. Honestly the chips are the best we have ever tasted. Crispy outside and light and fluffy inside. Just perfect. We will definitely return the next time we are in Birmingham. Worth every penny and at Β£40 for 4 meals and 4 drinks it was extremely well priced. Thanks to all the staff. Keep up the good work.
Popped in early on a weekday before lunch plans elsewhere, it was fairly quiet at that time. I was only here for a drink so can't comment on the food. The interior has been done up nicely, and the beer selection is better than an average pub, I went for the Beavertown Neck Oil. I don't know how to explain this, but the vibe seemed a little off, and slightly kind of uncomfortable and maybe unwelcoming? I'm not able to articulate properly in words what I mean, but it was enough to make me move on elsewhere after one drink. I have since looked through other reviews on here that seem to corroborate my view.
Great bar very comfortable very warm watching the rugby on TNT sport in here drinking a lovely pint of Guinness They do serve food the menu looks great not that we have ordered any yet. Nice friendly staff. Nice tunes.
