Hennesseys Bar is a great spot for watching live sport, with a lively atmosphere and plenty of screens so you never miss the action. The bar service is excellent — friendly, quick, and well organised even when it’s busy. The traditional pub food is very good too, with generous portions and classic favourites done properly. Whether you’re in for the game, a few drinks, or a proper pub meal, Hennesseys delivers every time. Definitely recommended.
We visited here as a party of 10 to watch the Cheltenham Festival Gold Cup. The atmosphere was great, there was plenty of TVs to watch the racing and the staff were pretty friendly. We ordered the burger meal and tender meal and both tasted good. Would recommend visiting here to watch the sports.
Pre booked for cup final to get a seat and a meal. Glad we booked ahead as it was pretty buzzing! There was a wait for the food but that was understandable considering there was a big match on. I've been here before on various occasions. Sports events are great here, the atmosphere is good. The food was absolutely fantastic. Staff are pleasant. The place is clean and comfortable and the loos are spotless. Brilliant night.
Came here on Monday night to watch an FA cup game. it’s a huge place with lots of screens, Guinness was fantastic, food was excellent value and the service by Levi was second to none. Sad i don’t live in the area as i would come here for all televised sports events. Highly recommend.
Great pint of Guinness here. Great staff, fantastic food also. We had a pre match food and drinks here over Christmas. Although we've drank in here over many years, never really had food. The Pizzas, chicken wings, French fries and loaded fries were all delicious. Highly recommend. Shall return again for food. 👍
