The Beeches advertises live sport with big TVs and promotes pre-match meet-ups, and CAMRA notes TV screens throughout with Sky Sports and TNT Sports—useful for catching televised fixtures before or after a game. It opens from 9am daily with food served 9am–9pm, making it practical for early kick-offs or late returns. WhatPub also lists nearby bus routes and Hamstead rail station about 1.7 km away, helping travelling supporters reach other Birmingham grounds or get back after matches. You can even flag specific games when booking for live sport.
The place is a family-friendly, offering a relaxed atmosphere with soft music that allows for comfortable conversation. They also host ongoing events; please feel free to call for the latest updates. Special thanks to the lovely waitress, Murie, for her warm and welcoming service.
Absolutely loved my lunch at Beeches Pub! Ordered the katsu curry and chicken tikka masala and both were bursting with flavour seriously good food and 100% worth the money. I asked if they could put the cricket on and they put it up on the big screen straight away, which made the experience even better. Great vibes, great service, and fantastic food. Can’t wait to come back! 🍻🔥
Had a wonderful Sunday Roast, really tasted amazing. The pub was busy which was nice to see at the moment with so many pubs closing down. Food was served quickly despite how busy it was, and our server Marie was friendly, she found us a table, brought the food out quickly, and was a wonderful host! Great Service! Will definetly come again 10/10
My friend and I came here for lunch yesterday with our sons. The pub is very spacious, clean and tidy. Food was so reasonably priced and very good, staff were so friendly too, it was lovely! And there is a soft play, which was free to use and nice and clean. Very impressed, would definitely come back!
I recently visited this pub and had a genuinely enjoyable experience from start to finish. The food was excellent—fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. The menu had a great variety of classic pub dishes, and everything we ordered arrived promptly and cooked to perfection. What really stood out, though, was the quality of the service. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. A special mention has to go to Marie, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after. She was friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in her work, which made a big difference to our visit. Overall, this is a pub that gets both the food and the hospitality just right. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed meal with great service, and I’ll certainly be returning soon.
