A welcome refuge from the cold and rain. A small spoons, but not lacking in atmosphere. I had the excellent VFM steak and ale pudding with peas and mash as well as red wine gravy. I had a 7 Brothers craftbeer for my drink. I would have stayed longer enjoying the warm atmosphere, but had a Loungers to visit. Would return 👏.
Spent last Saturday evening with friends at this pub. Good ambience, friendly, welcoming and helpful bar staff. Nice Chicken Tikka Masala but portion a bit small. Free WiFi, excellent! Parking on street is a bit mad, best to come via public transport where a bus stop is just outside and the tube station is 2 minutes walk. People in the pub is also friendly and chatty
Nice pub...Plenty of tables, clean and tidy, and it has the usual large selection of real ales. Right opposite Ruislip manor station....very convenient.
Spent an evening here with my wife nice pub friendly staff Hard to get a seat though And the end of the day it’s a weatherspoons it does what it says on the tin
Stopped in on a Wednesday night with 3 friends, had 2 pints each then was told we was not gonna be served anymore. Manager said "its illegal to be drunk at a pub" as some sort of excuse, then told us the table was too loud despite no prior warnings. Just seemed kinda low since we had good manners all night. Will go next door next time.
