Great little pub! The gents is easier to access than the ladies - very rare! There's sports TV here, but not so in-your-face. When it's quiet they chose the volume to suit the current customers. Bar staff are welcoming, accommodating, and have a can-do attitude. Perfect place to kill a bit of time if you're early for something.
Very rude and aggressive saying there is members only when there is clearly not refuse who they want because people is black or Irish they do not want them there Would advise anybody to stay away from this bar like they said it’s members only for people that’s never been there before cannot use so bloody rude
Only been visiting since renovations, but its a lovely pub with great friendly Staff & a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. There is normally great entertainment at the weekends. There r TV's around the rooms so u don't miss those matches/events! There r Pool & Darts & more seating facilities upstairs. Plus a great Jukebox for the times you want to be your own DJ. Unlike some of the older reviews, more women seem comfortable visiting now too.
Viv & Kimi behind the bar are real stars. What a friendly welcome from the two of them and from the local regulars. Eamo on guitar had us all singing along - a great atmosphere whipped up on a friday night !
Great pub, lovely atmosphere very friendly. Thanks to Viv, Dan and Carly for making our night so memorable. We will definitely be back for more.
