Love this pub the food is fantastic all home made had a cottage pie so good. Staff are so friendly so clean as well. I'm on my own today and I don't mind at all .Will be here sat with a friend and I will have the amazing breakfast.
First visited the outstanding White Lion a few weeks ago with friends for Sunday lunch . The food was so good we went back for an evening meal yesterday . Have to say we were not disappointed ! The food was amazing and such a pleasure to have true home cooked food that is of a very high standard. Everyone makes you feel very welcome , including our dog Ernie who enjoyed a snack of two ! Cannot fault the food or service in anyway and would highly recommend a visit to this little gem .
Great pub fab music very welcoming. Also if you don't have any issues with people and their sexuality and if they wear Drag. Then this is the place for you, definitely bringing my daughter here to celebrate her 18th ❤️ Any questions about food or wheelchair access or kid or pet friendly please feel free to ring up and ask as I was too drunk to notice and I didn't eat here well not yet that will be another review for another day. ❤️
Came here the other day Security guard on the front (brad) was rude to me and my friend. Me and my friend were polite throughout. He kept saying he will have us barred from all the pubs in the area which seems unreasonable and far fetched. Bartender that came out briefly was lovely and also vouched that we were not that drunk. Definitely will not be coming back here. Poor service we seen dodgy things going on in the toilets. Maybe he should be more concerned about that. clearly not doing his job properly. Got his badge number too so will make further complaint.
Had a great night with the Mrs, people were friendly, bar staff were great and entertainment was excellent. We had a great night
