Started using this place just over a year ago and everything was fine. 3 good ales as well as the everyday drinks. Then new people took over and the ales took a nose dive. Very little done to the place in over 12 months. Closed for refurbishment and new tenants. Fingers crossed that ales will be reinstated and kept well as priority.
We are a group of guys cycling around the country. Popped in here for a few beers. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Manageress pulled up a stool and had a good chat with us. Kind and friendly. Will visit again if in the area
We love this place, the land lady was lovely, pub just been refurbished to a lovely high standard, we loved the beer garden, really relaxed atmosphere, we chatted to a couple of local lads too.
A brilliant bar, fantastic staff would highly recommend this pub to anyone.
Didn't have food but great staff great landlady great pub and people
