The King's Ditch is a popular micropub in Tamworth, known for its extensive selection of real ales and ciders. Located just an 8-minute walk from Tamworth railway station, it offers a convenient stop for both home and away supporters. The pub's intimate atmosphere, with seating for around 40 people and a table service policy, provides a comfortable setting for pre- or post-match gatherings. Its focus on quality beverages and friendly service makes it a welcoming spot for football fans.
Very good micropub about ten minutes walk from Tamworth Railway Station. Four cask beers available when I visited including a milk stout. The pub was formerly a cycle shop and it opened as a licensed premises in 2014. A well-chosen range of around 20 ciders and perries has led to the pub being a finalist in the Campaign for Real Ale's national Cider Pub of the Year competition several times. There is a single ground-floor room and an additional small overspill drinking area upstairs which is generally quieter and more private.
Great local friendly micropub, four ales on tap with up to 16 ciders on tap too, so primarily a cider micropub. Enjoyed a lovely sweet Gwatkin Stoke Red cider. Very award winning as the pictures prove. Recommended if your in town, especially if you prefer a quieter pub, at half 4 on a Saturday it’s usually pretty quiet with a little bit of banter.
Probably one of the best Micropubs I've been in. Great beer, fantastic cider selection, friendly staff and customers. A must for lovers of Micropubs, good beer and cider👍😁🍻
Brilliant real ale and cider bar. Four rotating ales which cover a range of different flavours and around 15 ciders. Highly recommended
Nice little pub, worth a visit for some well priced ales
