As others have said, this is outstanding. First the bar. It’s big and harks back to another time. The polished brass, the solid oak, it’s very classy. The beautiful en-suite room was clean and very comfortable. The food? Well I had rump steak and my wife the steak and ale. Both cooked perfectly and the steak certainly tasted like a quality aged steak. Great value, location, room and food.
Stayed for one night in a family room. The room looked like it has just been renovated, lovely size rooms, comfortable beds. Great location to go for a meal in Tamworth town centre and only a few minutes drive from Tamworth castle |Staff were friendly and helpful, there was a relaxed feeling to the venue. |We had breakfast included in the room price , cooked to order and superb! Both the meat and veggie sausages were very tasty and good portion sizes. |Would certainly book here again
Great location amd staff are helpful
Well what can I say this place is outstanding. We approached the globe inn 18months ago as we was looking for somewhere to have our wedding reception. We noticed that they had a function room. We arranged to meet with the manager Claire to discuss our options if we was to hire their room. From that minute until our special day she was amazing so accommodating, helpful nothing was too much for her. I must of emailed 100s of times (sorry Claire) with so many questions and she was so swift with her replies a lovely lady. We will always be grateful to her. She did us so proud she helped dress our room which was breathe taking it was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing a big thank you to the chef. Huge portions and hot just how we like it. ( sorry I couldn’t eat my meal I was too overwhelmed I just wanted you too know it was beautiful) all our guests were over the moon with their meals and the buffet for 50 wow stunning.A huge thank you to Ben and his son the in house DJ he did a remarkable job had everyone on the dance floor, loved all of the lighting and sound quality ourselves and our guests had the best night ever. We also stayed in the hotel with family and friends rooms were lovely,clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.Thankyou to all of you for being part of our special day you made everything perfect in every single way. Love Clare and Steve x
A spot of lunch with a group of friends. Although I think everyone had a different meal, all came out together and piping hot. I had the burger and chunky chips and salad and didn't quite manage to finish it. The beer was cold ad refreshing and the staff were lovely A very pleasant lunch
