Only open Friday and Saturday. Large beer garden with music. Big place with plenty of setting. Two cask beers on, over drinks available. Has food or bar snacks.

I could write an essay about how wonderful the Moathouse is! We had our wedding Reception here & from start to finish Jon & Donald went above & beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, we had an amazing day, we had a package that included canape's & welcome drinks plus an evening buffet, there was plenty of choice & covered all dietry requirements. The bar staff never missed a beat & no one was left waiting to be served. The venue itsef is so beautiful with so much character & kept immaculately. Highly reccommend for any function. We have also started to visit for drinks in the beautiful garden where are daughter can run around safely, the bar area is lovely & friendly with a nice selection of drinks. Its safe to say the moathouse has become a firm favorate & we will contine to visit.

Just popped in for a cocktail as I’ve been craving one for a while (don’t normally drink, I think it’s the sunshine) ordered a Passion Fruit Martini, it was amazing, this then lead me to wanting to try the Espresso Martini - with smoke bubbles! - that gives a rich coffee aroma, when popped 🙌🏼 looking forward to returning and trying out the rest of the cocktail menu over the next few months. Staff are super friendly & very welcoming too.
