Popped in on a pub crawl, they had 2 flat ciders on. was a very busy pub, dog friendly with a real fire. It has a large walled beer garden to the rear of the pub with undercover seating and stage area. Always on Tap, Joule’s Pale Ale, Slumbering Monk, Pure Blonde and our English craft lager Green Monkey, alongside our rotating seasonal ale and cold craft beer
Great pub to stop and have a drink and a bite. Today we ordered lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered to steak pie with chips and peas. The chips were incredible and the pie was clearly homemade. (Brought back memories of my childhood) All food was hot and clearly fresh. We found all staff to be friendly and accommodating. Overall everyone left satisfied, we will definitely return, next time on a Sunday for a roast!! 🙃
Nice pub, never been in before! Driving, so could only have alcohol free Gunness, but cheapest I've come across £3.20. Some charge the same as normal Gunness.. looks like you can eat in here also. Also well behaved dogs aloud..

Fabulous little pub, a proper pub just like in the good old days, with comfortable surroundings and great beer. Friendly, welcoming, we'll be back. Update: lunchtime food is fabulous! I just wish they served it into the evening.
