Great cask ales and a warm welcome at this Lancaster Brewery pub. 3 ales from Lancaster and a lovely ale from the local Little Tales Beer Co. Ace location just yards from the views of Morecambe Bay.
We relly enjoy the Paletine under the new management. It's a beautiful, very clean space. With honest and delicious food. We had the sea food plater, it was fresh and light, highly recomended. The selection of drinks is great as well. Lovely atmosphere and faboulous service, plus the bay views. You cant miss it.
Good to find a pub with regular opening hours and really promoting cask beer. The Mosaic seasonal brew was on top form.

Food and drinks *Update * the upstairs restaurant has now been taken over and is called 18 north@the palatine ben is the chef and what a great job he's doing an upmarket menu is just what is required for Morecambe it's just getting better and better wonderful changing menu using the finest ingredients in the area making it the Must place to eat in the area
First time Trying The Mad Hunter South African Restaurant up above the Palatine Public House. Took my Husband for his birthday and I was not disappointed, beautiful and tasty spring rolls, smoked mussels infused in chilli for starters. I opted for the surf & Turf 5oz steak with an abundance of shelled Prawns. Hubby had a Lamb dish which was served on bread all very flavoursome. Just a little thing, it would have been nice to have had some warm water to wash fingers after peeling the Prawns but managed without. If you want something different then try here. Service Excellent very attentive and they added a little Birthday Touch at the end of the meal 😀
