I wanted to share some feedback about my experience today in Morecambe as I had been travelling from afar. I came in simply needing to use the toilet, and I was refused access by staff because I wasn’t a customer. I am visibly pregnant, so it was quite urgent, but I was still turned away. I understand businesses may have policies regarding customer toilets, but I found the situation really disappointing and lacking compassion. Pregnancy can make toilet access much more urgent and uncomfortable, and a little understanding would have gone a long way. I hope the woman behind the counter will consider handling situations like this differently in future. Thanks to the man inside the pub, who also found the situation quite rude came outside and checked on me as I was quite upset , he helped to direct me to a pub down the road . Thank you , you don’t know how much it means to notice the uncomfortability walking in with everyone staring. Thank you.
Fantastic micropub. You're guaranteed a warm welcome and a great choice of cask and keg beer - from the traditional to some local craft. Always vibrant. Welcoming to both dogs and humans alike.
No trip to Morecambe Bay is complete until you’ve called in here. Really friendly staff and regulars where good old fashioned chit chat is still order for the day. The choice of beers - particularly Cask - is consistently top drawer. Great public transport links as well - both 🚌 and 🚂 close by
Nice friendly, relaxed and chatty bar / micro pub. Good ales / beers and tastefully presented. Very positive contribution to the local area. Friendly owners. Will definitely visit again and recommend.
Excellent little micro pub, we were staying local for a weekend and visited on the off chance when we were walking back, well kept beer and an excellent atmosphere/surroundings will definitely be going back again
