If I could teleport from Accra, Ghana, I would go there every morning for my breakfast with beer. Chicken wings for lunch with my beer and a beer-dinner. I loved the ambience, the service. Walking from Sandylands to there for my breakfast was lovely. Unfortunately I had to leave back to Ghana. I desperately wanted to be there on my last night in Morecambe (27th November 2025). Please, I lost £70 on Tuesday 25th November. It was wrapped in a post office receipt. If anyone could find it...
This is a large really well run pub. There's the normal great Wetherspoons menu with something for everyone. There's lot's of seating on 2 floors and some outside. Our food came quickly and was well cooked with good portion sizes. It's easy to order on the app or at the bar. Great prices especially as most meals include a drink.
It's a Wetherspoons not a gastro pub so food is cheap and cheerful and run of the mill stuff. There was Doombar on "manager's special" at £1.29 a pint I sampled a couple not the best pint I have ever had but at £1.29 it was rude not to have a couple. Plenty of seats available and there is an upstairs but no bar there. App was not working so could not order to the table (would not recognise tables numbers tried several tables and a couple of phones).
Went for breakfast on BH Monday, not too busy, loads of avaliable tables. Ordered on the app, good food abd great prices & unlimited tea/coffee.
This J D Wetherspoon pub is themed on the legendary comedian, Eric Morecambe. It has the usual large range of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. The setting inside is well laid out and cosy, food and drinks were excellent and the service was quick and friendly.
