Had lunch at the station on a sunny Wednesday in March. We both had fish, chips and mushy peas at the fabulous offer price of £13.49 for 2 mains. The fish were superb, perfect thing but crispy batter and really tasty. We both had bottled beer, 1 non-alcoholic and the overall bill was only just over £20. Service was excellent and friendly and we had our dogs with us as it's a dog friendly pub. It's a massive, historic building, well maintained with lots of room enabling us to find a quiet corner. Highly recommend for a midweek trip out.
We would just like to say we visited this premises on Sunday 25th January. At first glance the pub was beautiful and clean. The staff were so friendly and really chatty. Offering my pooch treats and refreshment. All the staff were so lovely and really attentive. We didn't eat here as we didn't have time but all the food we did see looked fantastic. If going on a Sunday again I would reserve a table my the window for Sunday lunch as these were all booked. When we're back visiting this way we will surely be dropping by for food and great hospitality. Thank you xx
Went for lunch and had a very nicely Sone steak just as I ordered, perfect. Great atmosphere and service was quick and very efficient, all staff came with a very polite manner. I don't often leave reviews but Monday deserved an exception, for an exceptional service. The 1000000 and 1 question, "Would I recommend it a visit and would go again?" Answer is quite simple - Of course I would food is great many drafts, bottles, and softdrinks and of course wines to choose from. Great price for a great service. 👍👌
Probably the most expensive pub in Morecambe but clearly the nicest. Great choice of beer, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Only popped in for a quick drink before our train home but we'll worth it. The building is fabulous 👌
First time here, and such a nice pub. Set in old station (hence name,), with a few outdoor tables, many more inside. Staff friendly and helpful. Came for lunch (a wide and varied menu,), then called back again for a drink and dessert before leaving. Would recommend. (Opposite Midland hotel).
