If anyone is wanting to go for a lovely roast dinner carvery, then I highly recommend Sherwoods Restaurant at Eastleigh football club. We used go quite often a few years ago but then found it went downhill so stopped. Now they have a new chef who was revamped it all so decided to give it another go and can honestly say it is amazing 👏 We enjoyed it so much, we've been twice in the last fortnight and both visits were 10/10 from the food to the service! For the quality of food, quantity and service, the price is so reasonable and well worth a visit.
First time visiting here for Sunday lunch with my partner and her family. I personally wasn't thinking it'd be much here when I was told "we're going to Eastleigh football club for lunch" but I and the rest of the family were blown away by the service we received and the food and drinks. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Everyone from the waitresses to the kitchen staff and management. Every one of them really chatty and very welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing! We all went for the 3 courses and cannot fault any of it at all! Safe to say, we all left very stuffed, haha! The restaurant has a very welcoming vibe to it and is really well presented. The prices were a lot cheaper than we all thought we'd be paying too! We all agreed we'd happily come back here again. Would highly recommend coming here to everyone!
First visit with wife and adult daughter from London , fantastic food , great service , lovely atmosphere, very busy but the staff were consistently serving and striving to keep up with demand . If you want a fantastic Sunday carvery lunch this is definitely worth your time and money . Very impressed and extremely happy with our experience here. 10/10 . 5 stars . A+++++
Well Carvery’s can be hit or miss but this is the best Sunday Carvery I’ve been to in a long time. I had beef and pork, the meat cooked to perfection. The roasties and cauliflower cheese- beautiful. We’ve been twice in the last month and we all had a really great Sunday roast. They do a deal on 2 or 3 courses and it’s reasonably priced, was told they have a new chef and you can tell, top job. Easy to book a table on the website. Thanks team- We’ll be back soon!
