In a town blessed with so many great pubs, this was the one we gravitated back to. It's a proper boozer, full of proper boozers. The locals were salt of the earth types, it had such a good vibe about the place. Alcohol flowed, our visit will live long in the memory and will take some beating. Vive the bricklayers!
Fantastic little boozer in the heart of Altrincham. Tuesday and Wednesday are Midweek Madness and the beer is cheap as chips. Always a good pint, great atmosphere.... Try it out
Came here with Icarus and three others on a mid December 2023 Thursday afternoon. Had a great couple of hours in this traditional pub. (First ever visit. I think United legend Pat Crerand used to own it...He is 84 and could probably put more effort into a game than some of the current players.) It is a Craft Union pub and thus exceptional value. A pint of Wainwright Gold for £2.50, about a tenner for two pints and two generous wines. Hope to return soon for another pint or three. Outside space on front patio.
