I've given this 5 stars for their food, to be kind whilst I didn't have any food there and saw just small snacks, 3 of them I think only, on their menu. What a lovely, little place to visit that's been a mortuary prior, in years gone by too. I love that the lighting is dim, particularly with being on the autism spectrum, I don't like anywhere that's too busy, loud and bright in there too., this was none of those. Loved the look of the drinks menu there, like a folding book, a bit gothic / victorian era looking. The only thing is what I would say is, the waiter came upto both my partner, Steven & I and asked what we would like to drink and everything I asked for, particularly, was told they didn't have any in currently or any left? The prices were reasonable for 2 drinks though, £8 whilst mine was £3 for the 200ml orange juice bottled drink and they accepted card payment after too, before leaving. It's a clean looking, beautiful little town to visit is Altrincham and whilst there ahead again, would like to visit this venue again, at some point too. They were playing old school songs, 80s classics too, when we went in like Prince, so thumbs up there too!
Definitely one of if not the coolest bar in Altrincham, Its an underground belgian bar that has an insane selection of beers that all come with their respective glasses which just adds to the experience and definitely makes you feel like you're no longer in England, another detail that adds to it all is the European radio station often playing songs in German, French and Dutch, a very nice touch that didn't go unnoticed
Absolutely love this place! Unrivalled Belgium beer selection, all in branded glasses. Fantastic staff and cozy vibes. You won't regret visiting.
Always one of our favourite places on a night out in Altrincham, great atmosphere, unrivalled selection of beers, love that they have all the proper glasses and stands, the staff are always the right amount of helpful! (Just make the font size bigger on the menu)
Ooof I cant explain how wonderful this place is. Just tricky if you are in a bigger group. Every time I am in Altrincham I do come here. So don't misunderstand. Awesome place. X x
