Its spacious outdoor courtyard provides a relaxed setting for fans to gather before or after games. The venue's commitment to showcasing local breweries and offering a variety of beverages adds to its appeal for football fans seeking a lively and inclusive atmosphere.
A really good pub with plenty of beers on tap, offering a decent range of styles, strength and price. A busy Saturday evening but service was quick and staff were friendly throughout. The garden area at the back is large with plenty of seating (when the weather improves). As someone else said, the gents’ toilets are inadequate for a place of this size, although that’s a minor quibble.
Great place for a beer or two. Definitely will be going back we got friendly service, I could also take my dog with we which was not a problem for staff as they were ready with doggy treats which was a nice surprise
Pleasent enough, although at the time of my visit (12.30) only two casked available were, Wainwright & Nighjar (Lost in Ikea) the latter of which was excellent, although would have benefitted from last nights beers being pulled through first. Sadly the resident Cheshire Cat had run out. I made up with a Neck Oil which being keg was on the lively side. The bar itself was quiet (Wed midday) but was warm, clean & tidy, likewise the toilets. Aside from the limited choice of casked overall it was a pleasent experience.
Great place, lovely courtyard, especially in the sun. Lots of seating inside and outside.
First visit to this bar close to the Altrincham transport interchange. Choice of three real ales. Jorvic chose the Pomona Island. Very good. Long thin room with a shared courtyard out back.
