The Trafalgar is a traditional military pub in Aldershot, frequented by soldiers from around the world. It is the last surviving pub from a group established by a Royal Naval officer who fought at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The pub offers regular live music on Friday evenings and is close to Aldershot railway station (550m), making it convenient for fans traveling by train. It also serves a selection of real ales, including Hogs Back TEA, St Austell Tribute, and Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold, catering to beer enthusiasts. The venue is family-friendly, dog-friendly, and provides facilities like a garden, pool table, and smoking area, enhancing the matchday experience for supporters.
Lovely experience visiting the town where I was born and having a drink where my dad used to drink when in the PARAS, a lovely warm and friendly welcome from the regulars and some even knew my dad xxxx
Probably the best pub in Aldershot. The landlord, bar staff and the regulars are all very friendly. The bar has a good selection of beers and not at extortionate prices. The pub also has a pool table and an outdoor seating area. And the memorabilia on the walls is well worth looking at.
Great traditional local public house not to be missed with so much history Best for Guinnes any where in hampsire great to for place fir watching the 6 nations rugby too Great on Friday night, too, with their fantastic DJ GREAT FOR A MID WEEK QUIZ TOO.
Best pub in Aldershot. The decoration a few years ago ruined the atmosphere and feel of the pub. Has a bit of an airport-pub atmosphere now.
Just your typical local pub⦠Great value when it comes to food and drinks, friendly and approachable staff, and the location is excellent right next to the cinema.
